Dr. Ian Rehmert brings over 22 years of experience in consumer finance. He joined Republic Finance in 2018 and currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Before joining Republic, Dr. Rehmert spent eight years at Capital One, where he served as a Credit Officer and later advanced to Head of Mortgage Underwriting. In that role, he successfully stabilized a mortgage portfolio formed through five major bank acquisitions. He began his financial services career in 2003 at Household, which later became HSBC Consumer Lending, where he rose to Senior Vice President of Servicing Analytics.
