Expense Guidelines

All travel costs associated with ACI Global Sales Kickoff 2025 are the responsibility of each individual’s travel budget for hotel, airfare, transport, and any meals outside of the planned program meals.

Expenses will not be reimbursed for meals charged during GSKO. Use your discretion in spending for meals outside of the schedule. $85 USD per day is the suggested guideline for food and beverage expenses.

Attire

Smart casual attire is suggested for the duration of GSKO. Specific attire is listed below for evening or special events. Consider bringing a sweater/jacket to the sessions as the temperature in the meeting rooms can vary.

Power Outlets

Argentina uses both Type C and Type I plugs and outlets, and operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz: 

  • Type C- Also known as the Europlug, this plug has two round pins that are 4 to 4.8 mm wide, with centers that are 19 mm apart. 

  • Type I- This plug has three flat pins in a triangular pattern, with the two prongs at the top in an inverted V shape, and the ground prong below and in between the live and neutral prong. 

Weather

Temperatures range from around 25°C to 35°C (77°F to 95°F) in February. Humidity levels tend to be higher compared to the northern and southern regions, ranging from 60% to 80%, creating warm and humid conditions.

Guest Policy

GSKO is a work meeting that includes mandatory day and evening events. This is an opportunity to network and collaborate with your ACI colleagues and friends. For this reason, family and guests who may be traveling with you are not permitted at any GSKO events.

Safety & Security

We are pleased to inform you that we have taken measures to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. In line with our commitment to providing a safe environment, we have engaged private security personnel who will be present throughout the event venue in addition to hotel security. Their presence is simply a precautionary measure to ensure smooth operations and uphold a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. We hope this information provides additional reassurance.

When traveling to Argentina, you should take precautions to protect yourself from crime or other safety risks. Petty crime, including bag snatching and pickpocketing, is common in any big city. You should be especially careful in tourist areas, crowded places, and on public transportation. Keep your belongings secure at all times, especially your passport and other travel documents. 

You can: 

  • Keep your bag between your feet in public places and in front of you on public transportation 
  • Don't leave your belongings unattended 
  • Carry cash out of sight or close to you 
  • Lock your valuables in a hotel safe 
  • Carry a photocopy of your passport

Registration Hours of Operation

Global Desk Support will be available to help with any laptop or connectivity issues you may be experiencing. You will be able to drop off your machines for software upgrades or desktop support while onsite at the event.

  • How to back-up data to OneDrive
  • Software updates for questions, concerns, etc.
